Join Us!
Zion's Book Club is open to anyone interested in sharing the joy of reading.
The group will meet on the first Tuesday of each month at 7:00 p.m. We
usually meet at a member's home, which will be decided at the previous
meeting and announced through the newsletter and church bulletin. You may
also contact the church office for more information.
Each member is encouraged to read the entire book, and be willing to
participate in a discussion following a discussion guide.
In most of the selected books, the authors, in one way or another, have made
God, belief in God, religious devotion or religious experience a part of their
story. Other titles offer us an opportunity to look at our faith in comparison to
today's secular culture. We enjoy a diverse group of people and opinions.
Most of all, we have fun reading books we may not ordinarily choose to read.
Below is a list of upcoming titles along with brief descriptions of each book.
Also included for your convenience are phone numbers and addresses of local
book sellers, as well as links to online book sellers.
