Zion Lutheran Church Columbarium
- During the 2002 year meetings were held to determine the feasibility
of a Columbarium. - Surveys were given which showed:
- Majority of members were in favor of the project.
- Majority of members favored a location outside of the Church
building.
- The Location eventually chosen is just to the south of the bell tower.
- The company chosen to design the Columbarium is:
- HomeComing, Inc.
- Scottsdale, Arizona.
- Within Carleton County about 45% chose cremation upon their death.
- Committee that is working on the Columbarium consists of the
following:
- Mr. Ed Ballman
- Pastor Barbara Birkeland
- Mrs. Mona Parise
- Mr. Duane Lula
- Mrs. Jackie Nelson
- Mrs. Nancy Stevens
- Ms. Jan Pauna
