Who we are… a letter from the Zion Preschool Board:
“We believe that it is an important job to prepare our “littlest learners” for a
lifetime of experiences in the world of education and beyond. At Zion
Preschool we feel they are getting a good foundation in the basics of
preparing for school, from pre-reading skills to introduction of math concepts,
from simple social skills such as taking turns to sitting quietly for a story. We
take these ideas and set them within a warm, relaxed Christian setting.”

Zion Preschool:
Is designed for children ages 3-5
Is licensed by the State of Minnesota and accredited by the ELCA division of
schools. Our teacher is also licensed by the State of Minnesota and holds all
the necessary continuing Education certificates including First Aid and CPR.
Has smaller class sizes (ratio of 10 children per 1 teacher) allowing more
one-to-one attention.
Strives to provide an environment where the diversity of children is
celebrated through creative expression, sound pre-kindergarten curriculum
and basic Christian ideals.
Is a preschool experienced with children with special needs and varying
learning and social skills.
