New Wine refers to scripture in Luke 5. Jesus challenges us to get rid of the old categories in which
you’ve thought about religion and relationship with God. You must not try to fit what I say and do
into your old ways of thinking, but you must put My “new wine” into “new wineskins.”
New Wine Mission
The New Wine mission is to enrich the lives of the youth participants and audiences that attend,
through contemporary drama and music, with a focus on the teachings of Jesus Christ.
We strive to:
• Create a spiritual growth experience for youth that is fun, meaningful, and has positive
impact in their lives.
• Build a sense of Christian community within our youth that spans denomination.
• Contribute to a growing, caring, and fun high school peer group through shared activities
and growth experiences.
• Share God’s word through contemporary music and drama with audiences across North
America.
